    We currently have an exciting opportunity for an (Sr.) HR Specialist to join the HR Department for the Frankfurt Operation region. The role will be based in our Amsterdam office. Reporting to Kristine Alex, HR Manager, the role will be responsible for providing full generalist advisory services to the businesses. With a focus on the Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium, Ireland, Denmark and Finland, this role will deliver a high level of service across an internationally diverse, matrix-based structure. This challenging role will encompass many different and varied activities. 

     

    Responsibilities - External

    • Providing advice to line managers on all HR-related topics
    • Providing guidance and advice to managers on relevant HR policies and procedures
    • Offering a confidential and advisory service to employees as necessary
    • Working on ad-hoc projects 
    • Co-coordinating international assignments including assisting with the issuing of visas as appropriate
    • Administration duties including tracking of probation periods
    • Recruitment of positions within the above-mentioned territory

    Qualifications - External

    • 5+ years of relevant generalist experience at advisor level in an International HR position
    • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or equivalent qualifications
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both, Dutch and English, German is a plus
    • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships and to persuade and influence at all levels
    • Ability to deal with sensitive issues in a confidential manner
    • Ability to work autonomously and proactively
    • Good technology skills incl. MS Office and HR software
